The strength of our service (which has been described as Canada’s “Uber for Moving”) is in the quality of our movers. We have a 4-part on-boarding process, consisting of the following elements:
Part 1: Application
The first part of our on-boarding process involves filling out a quick and straightforward application form. This is just to get to know you a little bit.Part 2: brief telephone interview
If the application looks good, we’ll schedule a short telephone interview with you (hint, for this, we’re mainly looking for telephone manner and the ability to adhere to a set time). Basically, we want to get a sense of your manners and reliability.part 3: short quiz
This is where it starts to get intense!! Well, not really. If your telephone interview goes well, and you’ve proven yourself to be polite, prompt and courteous, we’ll send you a short quiz to test your basic moving competence. We’ll also include some short videos you can watch, if case you need to freshen up your knowledge, or want to be better prepared for you first job!part 4: Submit documents
Last stage! As a helper, the only documents you’ll have to submit are a proof of identification, and proof of your eligibility to work in Canada (which are often the same document). We will also conduct a background check (at no cost to you).
Equipment You’ll Need
Our helpers come prepared to handle whatever a job might throw at them. This means having the right equipment. Our helpers need to bring the following items to jobs (you can simply leave them in your vehicle’s trunk so you don’t forget them):
• Moving blanket (1)
• Moving rubber band (1)
Don’t have a moving pad/blankets or elastics? Don’t worry, we will bring them to your first job for you, and simply deduct the $10 cost from your first job’s commission. These are great things to have that will come in handy many times throughout your life.

• Great pay. Moovler helpers earn an average of $20-$32 per hour
• Great way to meet new people

How it Works
Moovler is an on-demand moving platform, that matches you, the freelance mover, to the closest available jobs that suit your schedule. When we get a job request that seems appropriate for you, we’ll reach out with the details to see if you’re interested in working it.
What to Expect in Terms of Schedule
We’re small, but growing. With Moovler, you could pick up jobs a few times a week, or once every two months, depending on how many jobs come in, and on your availability.
Those who apply to join our platform should be aware that working with Moovler is meant to serve as an income supplement, not a full-time income replacement.
What to Expect in Terms of Jobs
We get all sorts of job requests from customers, ranging from loading the contents of a house into a sea can, to moving a single piece of furniture down a set of stairs, to delivering a new chair from the Brick.
Some jobs only require one person with a pickup truck to help a customer load/unload and deliver the item; other jobs require a 20 foot van and three labourers to move a 3 bedroom townhouse.
